Iris Villegas, Sales Manager with Roylco, Inc., is selected as one of Anderson, South Carolina’s, top young community leaders. Twenty business and community leaders under the age of forty were recognized at a banquet sponsored by the Anderson Independent Mail on October 21st. Independent Mail Publisher Susan Kelly-Gilbert states, “The future of our Upstate community is looking bright these days, thanks to a range of emerging and talented young leaders.” Ms. Kelly-Gilbert cites their innovation and determination, and says, “Their efforts, dedication and influence will make a significant impact on our community for many years to come.”
Iris was honored specifically for her contributions to the growth of Roylco and her knack for connecting to its customers. Roylco, Inc. is an Anderson, SC, based developer and manufacturer of unique and innovative educational products that engage children as well as empower teachers and parents. Roylco Industrial, a division of Roylco, specializes in die cutting, offset printing, and injection molding. Roylco Industrial is known for its customized and creative solutions to customer needs.
Her job has grown to encompass the management of Roylco’s top accounts, and the oversight of sales staff and independent sales representatives. Her role includes marketing and promotion functions, travelling both nationally and internationally on behalf of the company to serve its diverse markets. She was also cited for her community involvement in the Arts and the Chamber of Commerce, as well as service to multiple non-profit organizations.
Iris Villegas is a proven young leader in our community, growing professionally into a leadership role in both her chosen career and her community commitment. She is truly one of Anderson’s 20 Under 40, and Roylco is proud that she chooses to dedicate her talents to Roylco and its customers.
